Stainless Steel 310S Round Bar is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel that has outstanding corrosion resistance capabilities when subjected to situations that are mildly oxidizing as well as reducing. As a result of its superior resistance to scaling in comparison to other austenitic grades, this grade is particularly well-suited for use in circumstances in which it will be subjected to high temperatures. Due to the high chromium and nickel content of the bars, they have good weldability and machinability, making them perfect for heavy-duty fabrication work in the marine and power generation industries.

The presence of nickel in the alloy also gives it superior corrosion resistance properties when compared to other grades of stainless steel.
