This alloy is a stainless steel alloy that contains carbon, chromium, and manganese. Alloy 347 is a stainless steel grade with good corrosion resistance and excellent resistance in stable oxidizing conditions. Our SS 347 round bar has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range. This round rod made of SS 347 has good oxidation resistance and high temperature creep resistance. At low temperatures, this alloy has good toughness.

SS 347 can only be hardened by cold forming, not heat treated. Based on standard manufacturing processes, SS 347H is easy to weld and process.
