SS 409M material comprises approximately 12% of chromium, due to which it has better temperature resistance. Also, there is the addition of other chemical compounds such as carbon, silicon and magnesium. They provide good toughness, durability and excellent mechanical strength to these plates. Furthermore, SS 409M Sheets have excellent weldability in a high-temperature environment.
The environments with slight corrosion resistance can use SS 409M Plates effectively, and also it performs very well at elevated temperatures without getting damaged.
