High Strength 10mm 904L stainless Plate
Stainless steel 904l plate has remarkable resistance to warm seawater and chloride attack. The high resistance of SS UNS N08904 plate to stress-related corrosion cracking is due to the presence of excess nickel in its chemical composition. To achieve maximum resistance to stress-related corrosion cracking in critical environments, 1.4539 steel strip needs to be solution treated after cold working.
904l SS plate also has good oxidation resistance. Additionally, the addition of copper to the 904l nickel strip alloy helps to improve its resistance to sulfuric acid and other reducing agents, especially in equations and mild environments.
