1.4542 1.4460 Stainless Steel Seamless Tubing
1.4542 material is a very special grade because of its mechanical properties. The yield and tensile strenght are usually both higher then 1000MPA and if we compare this grade with the most famous grade 304, then we can understand how strong this grade is. In 304 grade, the yield is about 300MPA but in 630 (1.4542) the yield is over 1000MPA.
EN 1.4460 / AISI 329 is especially suited for the manufacture of components for pumps and other equipment used in, for example, alkaline environments commonly found in the pulp and paper industry.
