Our pipes perform well in cryogenic to high temperature environments. Our Monel K500 pipes have high strength, corrosion fatigue and corrosion resistance. These pipes also resist pitting and pressure corrosion cracking. These pipes are hardened to have enhanced tensile and yield strength. It provides leak-free installation and proper alignment. It can be welded or threaded, depending on the system application. We also offer pipes in various shapes and forms, such as round, square, rectangular, welded pipes, seamless pipes, hollow pipes, thin wall pipes, and many more.
Monel K500 is one of the best alloys for commercial use and has a composition of 63% nickel and 29% copper. It is precipitation hardened by adding aluminum and titanium. It also contains some other elements like manganese, sulfur, carbon, iron, silicon and tungsten in smaller amounts to form an alloy. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance. When cold treated before hardening, it becomes non-magnetic and has improved yield and tensile strengths. After the precipitation hardening process, the hardness increases. It is annealed when welded and stress relieved before aging. We offer annealing, aging and cold drawing processes.
