What is the temperature range of Inconel 602?
Inconel 602 is easy to thermoform and cold form, and can also be machined. It can be hot-worked in a temperature range of 1,200 to 900 °C (2,192 to 1,652 °F), and can then be rapidly cooled in water or using an air nozzle.
What is the difference between Inconel 601 and 602 Alloy?
Inconel 601 has excellent oxidation resistance and tensile strength, making it suitable for high-temperature environments. In contrast, Inconel 602 has superior creep resistance and sulfurization resistance, making it ideal for reducing environments.
