What is the difference between Inconel 600 and 750?

Inconel® X-750 is a nickel-chromium austenitic alloy similar to alloy 600, but is precipitation hardenable by the addition of aluminum and titanium.

Inconel 600 and 750 are significantly different in many aspects:
Chemical composition: Inconel 600 is mainly composed of nickel, chromium and iron, while Inconel 750 (or X-750) adds elements such as aluminum and titanium to this basis to improve performance through precipitation hardening.
‌Performance characteristics ‌: Inconel 600 has good high temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance and is suitable for environments below 700°C. Inconel 750 can still maintain excellent tensile strength and creep rupture properties at higher temperatures (such as 700°C), and has stronger relaxation resistance.
‌ Application areas ‌: Both are widely used in chemical, petroleum, aerospace and other fields, but Inconel 750 is more common in occasions that need to withstand higher temperatures and stresses (such as aircraft engines and nuclear reactor components) due to its better high temperature performance.
