The difference between INCOLOY 800 /800H/ 800HT Fitting
The main differences between INCOLOY 800, 800H, and 800HT fittings lie in their chemical composition and the resulting high-temperature mechanical properties. 800HT exhibits the best creep strength and stress fracture strength, followed by 800H, and lastly 800. Compared to the base 800 alloy, INCOLOY 800H and 800HT have stricter carbon, aluminum, and titanium content requirements and coarser grain sizes, making them more suitable for high-temperature applications.
What are the specific specifications of Incoloy 800?
The chemical composition of INCOLOY 800HT alloy is limited to the range of 800H alloy and requires heat treatment at at least 2100°F (1149°C). Its carbon content is 0.06% to 0.10% (0.05% to 0.10% for 800H alloy), and the aluminum and titanium content is 0.85% to 1.20% (0.30% to 1.20% for 800H alloy).
