Inconel601 Inconel alloy plate
The performance characteristics of Inconel601 are better than 600. It is an alloy with a high chromium content. It should have excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Because the composition also contains aluminum, it can have good oxidation resistance and curing properties. The characteristics of this alloy are: Excellent oxidation resistance and carbonization resistance at high temperatures, good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature, good stress corrosion cracking resistance, high creep due to controlled carbon content and grain size Breaking strength.

Inconel 601 also has magnetic permeability, an essential property of materials used in generators, electric motors, turbines and power plants. Inconel 601 has high temperature resistance up to 1260°C and excellent oxidation resistance. Inconel 601 is resistant to the effects of hydrogen sulfide, chloride and carbon dioxide, making it a perfect choice for sour gas wells.
Shipbuilders use Inconel 601 when designing hulls, valves, pipes, pumps and other components, helping to extend the service life of naval and commercial vessels that might otherwise be shortened by corrosion. The thermal expansion coefficient of Inconel 601 is 13.6 microns/m·k, and the hardness is HB 150-220;. Inconel 601 nickel-cobalt alloy is particularly suitable for high temperature and high mechanical stress environments. It is recommended to use this alloy below 1000°C.
