Heat treatment:
Keep between 980-1150℃ for 1-2 hours, quickly cool in air or water.
Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength: σb ≥ 550Mpa, yield strength σb ≥ 240Mpa: elongation: δ ≥ 30%, hardness ≤ 100 (HRB)
Corrosion resistance and main use environment:
INCONEL 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy with good high temperature corrosion resistance (acid and alkali resistance) and slow reaction performance, excellent cold and hot processing and welding process performance, and satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700℃.
The alloy is designed for low temperature to 1093℃ environment. It has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature, good slow reaction and carbonization resistance stability at 1093℃ (but in a reducing atmosphere containing hydrogen sulfide, its upper limit temperature is 535℃).
Inventory:
600 alloy plate stock size is 0.5mm-12mm, 600 alloy bar stock size is Φ12mm-Φ220mm, pipes and fittings and others can be customized according to customer requirements.
