Inconel 718 Alloy Coil

Inconel 718 Alloy Coil Information
Inconel 718 coil (Alloy 718) is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy known for its exceptional strength, fatigue resistance, and high-temperature corrosion resistance, typically up to 700°C (1300°F). Supplied in coil form, the alloy is widely used in critical applications in the aerospace, power generation, and petrochemical industries due to its strong mechanical properties, good weldability, and formability. Its composition, including niobium and molybdenum, provides excellent tensile, yield, and creep-rupture strength, while maintaining stability under high stresses and extreme conditions.
What are the properties of Inconel 718?
Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing significant amounts of iron, niobium, and molybdenum, along with smaller amounts of aluminum and titanium. It combines corrosion resistance with high strength and excellent weldability, including resistance to post-weld cracking.
