GH4141 alloy is rich in aluminum, titanium and molybdenum, so the initial processing of the ingot is difficult, but after deformation, the material shows good plasticity, can be cold worked under annealing conditions, and supports welding operations. However, stress aging cracks may occur during heat treatment after welding.
GH4141 alloy can be made into various forms such as thin plates, strips, wires, discs, rings, forgings, bars and precision castings. It is particularly suitable for the manufacture of high-temperature parts of aviation and aerospace engines that require high strength below 870℃ or oxidation resistance below 980℃.
