It also has excellent weldability and formability, making it ideal for many chemical, food processing, and power generation applications. Its high temperature operating range can reach 662°F, while its melting point is around 2520°F.
Incoloy UNS N09925 sheets are commonly used in the chemical processing industry because they can handle highly corrosive chemicals without degradation or stress corrosion cracking. They are also commonly used in food processing plants because they are nonmagnetic and have superior corrosion resistance than stainless steel alloys.
