Hastelloy UNS N10665 N06455 tube
N10665 Hastelloy is a high performance corrosion resistant alloy also known as Hastelloy B-2 alloy. It is a nickel-based alloy composed of nickel, molybdenum, iron, chromium and tungsten and other elements. It has excellent corrosion resistance and can be used for a long time in various environments of strong acids, strong alkali, salt water, oxidants and reducing agents without being affected by it. Corrosion and oxidation damage.
Hastelloy C-4 (N06455) is an austenitic low carbon nickel molybdenum chromium alloy. The main difference between Nicrofer 6616hMo and other earlier developed alloys with similar chemical compositions is the low carbon, silicon, iron and tungsten content. Such a chemical composition enables it to exhibit excellent stability at 650-1040°C and improve resistance to intergranular corrosion, thus avoiding edge line corrosion sensitivity and weld heat affected zone corrosion under appropriate manufacturing conditions.
