Alloy Inconel C 2000 Pipe
Product Introduction
Hastelloy C-2000 alloy is a well-established NiCr-Mo alloy with Cu added. The combined effect of Mo and Cu (at the levels of 16% and 1.6% respectively) in the alloy gives the alloy excellent resistance to corrosion by reducing media, while the high Cr content (mass fraction 23%) ensures that Resistance to corrosion by oxidizing media. This excellent corrosion resistance behavior is not only reflected in lower metal losses, but also in better resistance to localized corrosion, especially pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. From an engineering perspective, its enhanced corrosion resistance can provide longer equipment life under the same material thickness and a higher safety factor under harsher conditions.
