904L 1.4529 super duplex pipe
904L alloy was originally developed to resist corrosion in dilute sulfuric acid and is one of the few that maintains complete corrosion resistance over the entire concentration range of 0-100% and at temperatures up to 95°F (35°C) of stainless steel. 904L also has good corrosion resistance against many inorganic acids (such as phosphoric acid) and most organic acids. However, acids and acid solutions containing halogen ions are very corrosive and the corrosion resistance of 317L, 317LMN and 904L may not be sufficient.
1.4529 is a super austenitic stainless steel with excellent resistance to chloride ion pitting and crevice corrosion. Its resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion is better than that of 3 series stainless steel, and its cost is lower than that of corrosion-resistant nickel-based alloys. . It shows good anti-corrosion properties in various severe corrosive environments. It is suitable for high chloride aqueous solutions and chloride corrosive environments. It also has strong corrosion resistance in harsh environments such as high-temperature seawater or flue gas desulfurization devices.
