17-7PH (631 stainless steel): martensitic precipitation hardened steel
17-7PH, also known as 631 stainless steel, is a martensitic precipitation hardening steel. It has unique characteristics in terms of structure and performance. Its composition, characteristics, heat treatment process and wide range of applications will be introduced in detail below.
Features and Uniqueness:
Martensitic precipitation hardening: 17-7PH is a martensitic precipitation hardening steel. Through appropriate heat treatment process, excellent strength properties can be obtained.
Excellent corrosion resistance: Compared with other steels, 17-7PH has excellent corrosion resistance, especially when resisting corrosive media, such as compared with 17-4PH, 95Cr18 and 14Cr17Ni2 steel.
Resistance to corrosion fatigue and water drop impact: 17-7PH has excellent resistance to corrosion fatigue and water drop impact, and has better performance than traditional Cr13 steel.
