S355 Stainless Steel Pipe

S355 steel pipe is available in various sizes and shapes, including round, square, and rectangular shapes. It can also be produced in different finishes, such as black or galvanized, to suit specific requirements. As a versatile material, it can be used for a wide range of applications, such as building structures, bridges, and pipelines.

S355 is a non-alloy structural steel, corresponding to my country's Q345 low alloy steel, and is widely used in fields such as construction, bridges, vehicles and mechanical engineering. 

S355 is supplied in hot rolled condition and is a high yield non-alloy steel. Its chemical composition mainly includes carbon  (C), silicon  (Si), manganese  (Mn), phosphorus  (P) and sulfur  (S), of which iron (Fe) is the main component. The specific chemical composition is: carbon content (C) is 0.20%, silicon content (Si) is 0.55%, manganese content (Mn) is 1.60%, phosphorus content (P) is 0.025%, sulfur content (S) is 0.030% . The mechanical properties of S355 steel mainly include tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and impact toughness. Its tensile strength is 470~630 MPa, yield strength is 355 MPa, elongation is 22%, and impact toughness is 27J (-20℃).

S355 steel has good weldability, high strength, good impact toughness and weather resistance, can withstand large loads and bending stress, and is suitable for applications in cold environments. In addition, S355 steel meets the requirements of the European standard EN10025-2: 2004, and has other specifications and requirements according to different subdivision grades (such as S355J2, S355K2, etc.).

According to different uses and quality levels, merchants will add letters after S355 when delivering goods from the factory. For example, S355NL means that the steel can only be sold after being professionally tested in an environment of -50 degrees Celsius and its impact value is greater than 27J. .
