316Ti stainless steel is a titanium-stabilized version of 316 stainless steel. It has excellent corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. The addition of titanium improves resistance to sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation) during welding. This makes 316Ti ideal for applications that require prolonged exposure to high temperatures and corrosion-resistant performance.
