Monel K500 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the outstanding corrosion resistance of Monel 400 with increased strength and hardness.
These enhanced characteristics, strength and hardness, are acquired by adding aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper basis, as well as via a thermal precipitate procedure known as age hardening or aging.
