Inconel Alloy 602CA seamless pipe is a high-performance nickel-based alloy pipe with excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature performance. This material is favored in many industrial applications due to its unique chemical composition and physical properties.
Basic composition and ingredients
Main ingredients: The main components of Inconel 602CA seamless pipe include a high proportion of nickel (Ni), as well as elements such as chromium (Cr) and iron (Fe). In addition, it also contains trace amounts of titanium (Ti), zirconium (Zr), aluminum (Al) and rare earth yttrium (Y), which provide additional performance advantages to the alloy.
Chemical composition details: The specific chemical composition includes carbon (C) content between 0.15% and 0.2%, silicon (Si) not exceeding 0.5%, manganese (Mn) not exceeding 0.15%, and extremely low sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P) contents of less than 0.01% and 0.02% respectively. The chromium content is between 24.0% and 26.0%, nickel constitutes the balance, the iron content is between 8.0% and 11.0%, and the copper (Cu) content is less than 0.1%.
Physical and mechanical properties
Melting point and density: Inconel 602CA has a melting point range of 1325°C to 1370°C and a density of 8.90 g/cm3, which allows it to remain stable in high temperature environments.
High temperature performance: The alloy can work stably for a long time at temperatures up to 2250°F (about 1232°C), showing excellent high temperature creep-cracking strength. This makes it an ideal choice for high temperature cycling or low cycle applications.
Environmental corrosion resistance
Oxidation and carburization resistance: Inconel 602CA seamless pipe has excellent oxidation resistance in high temperature environments, especially in cyclic environments. At the same time, it can also resist corrosion in carburization and chlorination environments.
Corrosion Resistance: Due to its chemical composition, this alloy also exhibits good corrosion resistance in oxidizing, chlorinated and metal powdering environments, which makes it suitable for use in a variety of chemical processing and petrochemical reformer applications.
