Inconel 601 Fasteners are designed to withstand in severe corrosive and high-temperature exposure circumstances. These fasteners are alloyed with nickel and chromium content that offers superior resistance to corrosion, heat, and oxidation. The nickel content retains ductility after long service exposure and possesses high-temperature strength. This grade of fasteners creates a tight adherent oxide scale that resists spalling under severe thermal cycling circumstances. These are generally utilized in those conditions where high surface stability and mechanical stress is required. The fasteners are highly resistant to carburization and offer good creep rupture strength. Furthermore, these exhibit good resistance to aqueous corrosion also. These have outstanding mechanical properties and are readily machined and formed. The fasteners are both hot and cold worked and are readily welded by means of welding practices.
Testing details
Several quality measures and inspection are conducted in our manufacturing plant where the entire product is strictly checked and examined to verify any defect and flaw in the product. These tests are like hardness test, chemical analysis, flattening test, macro/micro test, flaring test, pitting resistance test and mechanical test. Other tests are positive material identification test, radiography test, intergranular corrosion test, and ultrasonic test. Such tests are performed under the supervision of authorized professionals.
