INCONEL693 alloy (UNSN06693) is a new alloy that provides high temperature corrosion resistance previously unattainable in nickel-based alloys. Designers are particularly interested in the alloy's ability to resist metal dust. Of all alloys currently produced, INCONEL 693 alloy has the best resistance to metal dust in chemical and petrochemical environments. Typical alloy 693 contains 60.5% nickel, 29% chromium and 3.1% aluminum.
Inconel 686 alloy is used in the harshest working conditions, including chemical processing, pollution prevention, pulp and paper, industrial waste and domestic waste treatment. Chemical processing includes heat exchangers, reactors, evaporators and transfer piping. Air pollution prevention and control includes chimney linings, pipes, furnace doors, scrubbers, flue gas reheaters, propellers, and outer covers. Products available include tubes, sheets, plates, strips, round bars, hexagonal bars, wire rods and forgings.
