What is GH3030 alloy?
GH3030 solid-solution-strengthened superalloy is an early-developed 80Ni-20Cr solid-solution-strengthened superalloy. This alloy has a simple chemical composition and exhibits good hot strength and high ductility below 800°C. It also offers excellent resistance to oxidation, thermal fatigue, cold stamping, and welding. After solution treatment, the alloy forms a single-phase austenite, maintaining a stable microstructure during service. The primary product is cold-rolled sheet, but deformed products such as bars, rings, wire, and tubes are also available. This alloy is primarily used in turbine engine combustor components operating below 800°C, as well as other high-temperature components operating below 1100°C that require oxidation resistance but are subject to low loads.
