Nickel Alloy Inconel 625 Construction Polishing Rod
Inconel 625 polishing rods are made from a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy known for its exceptional strength, high-temperature resistance (up to 1800°F/982°C), and excellent resistance to various corrosion conditions, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. These properties make it an ideal choice for demanding environments in industries such as aerospace, chemical processing, and marine applications, where materials must withstand corrosive conditions and high stresses. The alloy's strength stems from its solid-solution-strengthened nickel-chromium matrix, eliminating the need for precipitation hardening.

What are the properties of 625 nickel alloy?
625 alloy is a nonmagnetic, corrosion- and oxidation-resistant nickel-based alloy. Its excellent performance in the temperature range from cryogenic to 2000°F (1093°C) is primarily due to the solid solution effect of the refractory metals niobium and molybdenum in the nickel-chromium matrix.
