GH3030 Forged Hot-Rolled Alloy Bars for High-Temperature Parts

GH3030 Forged Hot-Rolled Alloy Bars for High-Temperature Parts
GH3030 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based superalloy, typically composed of approximately 80% nickel and 20% chromium (80Ni-20Cr). Due to its excellent oxidation resistance, thermal fatigue resistance, and high plasticity, GH3030 is widely used in high-temperature environments below 800℃ to 1100℃. GH3030 forged and hot-rolled alloy bars are commonly used to manufacture high-temperature structural components, including aerospace and turbine parts.
What is the standard length for your GH3030 bright rods?
Our standard length is 2500mm to 4000mm. However, we provide a Cut-to-Length service to meet your specific machine feeder requirements.

3. Forged vs. Hot Rolled: Choosing the Right GH3030 Rod
As a Reliable Supplier, we offer two primary manufacturing methods to suit different engineering scales and stress requirements:
1. Hot Rolled GH3030 Bars
Diameter Range: 10mm to 100mm.
Best For: Standard CNC machining, small-scale structural parts, and fasteners.
Advantage: Excellent dimensional consistency and ready-to-use In Stock availability for fast turnaround.

2. Forged GH3030 Round Bars
Diameter Range: 100mm to 300mm+.
Best For: Heavy-duty structural components, large flanges, and high-stress aerospace parts.
Advantage: Superior internal density and refined grain structure, ideal for parts that must withstand extreme mechanical loads at 800°C.

4. Why choose to source GH3030 bars from Gnee Steel?
Large Diameter Inventory: We are one of the few suppliers maintaining a significant stock of large-diameter forged bars (up to 300mm) for immediate dispatch.
MTC Included: Every single rod is shipped with a full 3.1 Mill Test Certificate (MTC), detailing the chemical heat analysis and mechanical test results.
Quality Assurance: All bars undergo 100% Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to ensure zero internal defects or porosity.
Direct Factory Pricing: Benefit from Wholesale Pricing by sourcing directly from a top-tier superalloy manufacturer.

FAQ
Q1: What heat treatment state are the bars supplied in?
A: Our GH3030 round bars are typically supplied in the solution-treated condition (usually 1000°C - 1050°C, air or water cooled). This ensures maximum ductility and a stable austenite structure, making the bars easier to machine and form.
Q2: Do you provide "Black" or "Peeled" surface finishes?
A: We provide both. Hot rolled bars often come with a pickled or black surface, while our forged bars can be supplied as "Rough Machined" or "Peeled" to ensure the removal of all surface scale.
Q3: Can you handle custom forging for non-standard diameters?
A: Yes! As a specialized manufacturer, we can provide custom forged rods tailored to your specific diameter and length requirements, even for small batch quantities.
Q4: Is your material suitable for Aerospace engine shafts?
A: Absolutely. Our forged GH3030 bars are produced using VIM+ESR melting, which meets the high-purity standards required for aerospace rotating parts.
