Inconel 601 Square Bar is a good oxidation resistant nickel-chromium alloy with high temperature resistance and good strength in carburizing and chloride treatment. These Inconel 601 Square Bars that meet ASTM B166 standards will form a dense, passive and stable oxide layer during heating, which protects the outside from further oxidation. Due to its excellent high temperature oxidation resistance, Inconel 601 Square Bars still maintain extremely high stability at 2200 degrees Fahrenheit (about 1177 degrees Celsius) and are not easily oxidized during heating.
