Nickel 201 is a commercially pure nickel alloy similar to Nickel 200 but with a lower carbon content (0.02% max), making it especially suitable for applications requiring excellent corrosion resistance in high-temperature, reducing, and neutral environments. Its low carbon content reduces the risk of graphite precipitation, which can occur in higher carbon content alloys, making Nickel 201 more resistant to embrittlement at high temperatures.
