Alloy 20 or carpenter 20 is an austenitic grade of steel. Alloy 20 plate is designed with a superior chemical content of chromium, nickel, molybdenum, iron, and other alloys. This gives the alloy 20 sheets plates excellent resistance to general corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking in different conditions. The nicr20cumo clad plate has minimal carbide precipitation during welding and is stabilized against sensitization due to its niobium content.The alloy 20 plate material has excellent mechanical properties. These plates have a minimum tensile strength of 620mpa with a minimum yield strength of 300mpa. They can be elongated by 41% in the system.
