Hastelloy C-4 welded pipe (UNS N06455) is a low-carbon nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy welded pipe material, which is famous for its excellent resistance to oxidation, reduction and chloride medium corrosion, and is particularly suitable for high temperature and strong corrosive environments. Its main components are nickel (balance), chromium (14-18%), and molybdenum (14-17%). The carbon (≤0.015%) and silicon (≤0.08%) contents are strictly controlled, which effectively reduces the precipitation of welding carbides, significantly improves the intergranular corrosion resistance and welding stability, and is suitable for TIG, MIG and other welding processes.
Hastelloy C-4 welded pipe still maintains excellent high-temperature mechanical properties and corrosion resistance above 600℃, especially resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (Cl-SCC), and is widely used in chemical (reactors, corrosive pipelines), energy (flue gas desulfurization, nuclear fuel processing), petroleum (sour oil and gas production) and pharmaceutical fields for high-purity medium transportation.
