GH4049 3600 High Heat Stainless Steel Pipe
GH4049 is a hard-to-deform precipitation-strengthened nickel-based deformed high-temperature alloy with a similar composition to Russia's 3K929 alloy. It has been gradually developed in my country since 1958, and was successfully trial-produced in 1965, and successfully passed the trial operation and first flight evaluation.
Composition characteristics of GH4049 alloy: more insoluble elements are used for solid solution strengthening. The sum of solid solution strengthening elements W + Mo reaches 9.5%-11.5%. In addition, there are more Cr and Co, and the sum reaches 23.5 %-27.0%, so the solid solution strengthening level is very high; more Al+Ti is also used, and the sum reaches 5.1%~7.3%, which can produce more γ' phase for deposition strengthening.
Comparing the composition of GH4049 alloy with the Russian 3K929 alloy, the range of Cr, Co, W, Mo, Al, Ti and V in GH4049 alloy has become smaller, and the composition control is more stringent, which can improve the mechanical properties and ensure the middle mechanical properties of the furnace number. The performance level is closer and the fluctuation is small.
