904l Duplex Feature

 

904L, like other commonly used CrNi austenitic steels, has good resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion, high resistance to stress corrosion fracture, good resistance to intergranular corrosion, good processing performance and welding performance. During hot forging, the maximum heating temperature can reach 1180 degrees Celsius, and the minimum stop temperature is not less than 900 degrees Celsius. This steel can be hot-formed at temperatures of 1000 – 1150 degrees Celsius. The steel is heat treated at 1100-1150 degrees Celsius and cooled quickly after heating.
