UNS N08810 / UNS N08811 - Incoloy 800 H is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy with the same basic composition as Incoloy 800, but with significantly higher creep rupture strength. The higher strength results from tight control of carbon, aluminum, and titanium contents, as well as high temperature annealing.

800H is improved by controlling carbon (0.05 to 0.10%) and grain size (>ASTM 5) to optimize stress rupture properties. Incoloy 800 H is further improved by combining titanium and aluminum (0.85 to 1.2%) to ensure optimal high temperature performance.

Dual certified, this alloy combines the properties of both forms. The chemical balance allows the alloy to exhibit excellent resistance to carburization, oxidation, and nitriding. 800HT does not become brittle even with long-term use in the 1200-1600 degrees Fahrenheit range, where many stainless steels become brittle.

INCOLOY alloys belong to the category of super austenitic stainless steels. Nickel, chromium, and iron serve as base metals, with molybdenum, copper, nitrogen, and silicon as additives. These alloys are known for their high strength at elevated temperatures and corrosion resistance in a variety of harsh conditions.

Nickel, iron, and chromium make up INCOLOY alloy 800. This alloy remains stable and retains its austenitic structure even when exposed to elevated temperatures for extended periods of time. The alloy also has a strong resistance to oxidizing, reducing, and aqueous conditions, as well as excellent strength. Round bars, flat bars, forging billets, tubes, plates, sheets, wire, and strip are the most common forms of this alloy.
