I. Overview of Inconel600

Inconel600 is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthening alloy with good high-temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, excellent cold and hot processing and welding process performance, and satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700°C. The alloy can be strengthened by cold working, and can also be connected by resistance welding, fusion welding or brazing. Zhuoyi Industry can supply cold-rolled thin plates, hot-rolled thick plates, strips, wires, bars, round cakes, ring billets, ring forgings, etc., which are suitable for making anti-oxidation parts that withstand low loads below 1100°C.

1.1 Material brand Inconel600.

1.5 Heat treatment system Plate: 1010~1050℃, 3~5min/mm, air cooling; Strip: 1010℃±10℃, air cooling; Wire: 1065℃±10℃, air cooling. Bar and ring inspection test is 1010℃±10℃, air cooling solution treatment.

1.6 Variety specifications and supply status Zhuoyi Industry can supply various specifications of plates, bars, forgings, strips, wires, round cakes, ring blanks, and ring forgings. The bars are supplied in the forged state, with the surface polished or turned; the round cakes and ring blanks are supplied in the forged state; the rings are supplied in the solid solution state; the plates are supplied after solid solution, alkaline pickling, straightening and trimming; the strips are delivered after cold rolling, solid solution and descaling; the wires are delivered in the solid solution pickled disc or straight strip, and the solid solution straight strip is finely polished.

1.7 Melting and casting process The alloy is melted by one of the following processes: (1) non-vacuum induction melting plus electroslag remelting; (2) arc furnace melting plus electroslag remelting; (3) vacuum melting.

1.8 Application overview and special requirements The alloy has mature use experience abroad and has been made into aerospace engine parts in China. It has passed the flight test and has also begun to be used in aviation.

Melting temperature range 1370~1430℃.
