Nickel 200 Alloy Round Bar is a ferromagnetic, commercially pure (99.6%) wrought nickel that has good mechanical properties over a wide temperature range, high ductility, and excellent resistance to many corrosive materials, especially hydroxides.
Alloy 200 Hot-Rod Bar has strength roughly comparable to mild steel when annealed, and can provide higher strength levels in the "as rolled" condition. With a low annealed hardness and very low work hardening rate, it is well suited for cold forming operations such as deep drawing, spinning, coining, etc.
Nickel 200 Alloy Round Bar is used in corrosion resistant equipment such as caustic evaporators, rotating anodes, combustion boats and laboratory crucibles, as well as electronic components.
