Nickel 1.4833 1.4948 Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe

Acid-resistant stainless steel with austenitic structure is divided into heat-resistant and creep-resistant stainless steel. AISI 304H and 1.4948 are used for temperatures up to 550 °C. Compared to the usual 304 and 304L grades, the chemical composition of 304H is adapted to the working environment in terms of high temperature strength properties (creep resistance) through the addition of REM. 1.4948 and 304H steel have the same acid, alkali, salt and gas resistance as ordinary stainless steel 0H18N9 and 1.4301.

Stainless steel 1.4833 is classified as a high-alloy stainless steel. Its composition is less nickel than type 310, and its carbon content is lower than type 309. Reduced nickel provides better resistance to hydrogen sulfide, especially at high temperatures. Additionally, the lower carbon content in its composition allows 309S stainless steel to be used in areas where high-temperature gases may cause problems. Therefore, it is often used in the manufacture of high-temperature furnaces, exhaust systems and containers. Type 1.4833 is also resistant to oxidation and creep, and has the ability to withstand high temperatures. Due to the high content of nickel and chromium in cosmetics, humid environments have no effect on them. Therefore, it is often used in marine environments instead of stainless steel 304 due to its higher resistance.
1.4948 austenitic stainless heat-resistant steel, with good corrosion resistance and welding performance, and good thermal strength performance. Alloy 1.4948 is a T-300 series stainless steel austenitic with a minimum content of 18% chromium and 8% nickel and a maximum carbon content of 0.08%. It is standard "18/8 stainless steel" commonly used for pans and cooking tools. 1.4948 alloy is the most versatile and widely used alloy in the stainless steel family.
