Hastelloy G30 Tube is a corrosion resistant alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments. Hastelloy G30 Tube has been successfully used in phosphoric acid heat exchanger tubes and other process components in the fertilizer industry. Both Hastelloy G30 Tubes contain high chromium and are the material of choice for strong oxidizing solutions and mixed pickling. Hastelloy C-4 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, a corrosion resistant alloy material with the most stable microstructure. Compared with other earlier developed alloys with similar chemical composition, its main differences are lower carbon, silicon, iron and tungsten contents and the addition of the stabilizing element titanium. This chemistry shows good stability at 650-1040°C, improved resistance to intergranular corrosion, and can avoid pitting and crevice corrosion under proper manufacturing conditions.
