Hastelloy B-2, also known as Alloy B-2, UNS number N10665, W. Nr. 2.4617, is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy, usually containing 65% nickel, 28-34% molybdenum, and large amounts of chromium, iron and other elements.
UNS N010665 Alloy has good corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. In addition, it also has good corrosion resistance to reducing environments such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid and phosphoric acid. This alloy is particularly suitable for equipment that handles reducing chemical environments.
