K500 Alloy Steel cold rolled Sheet
Monel K500 cold-rolled plate is an aging-strengthened nickel-copper alloy plate with a typical composition of Ni63%/Cu30% and added Al (2.3-3.15%) and Ti (0.35-0.85%). After cold rolling and aging treatment at 480-620℃ (4-16 hours), it has excellent mechanical properties (tensile strength ≥1100MPa, yield strength ≥725MPa, hardness HRC25-35) and excellent seawater corrosion resistance. It is particularly suitable for harsh environments such as shipbuilding (propeller shafts, seawater pump parts), chemical equipment (high-pressure vessels, reactors) and petroleum industry (downhole tools, valves). When processing this material, special attention should be paid to the aging treatment after cold rolling to obtain the best performance. Special welding materials such as ERNiCu-7 should be used for welding and re-aging. It has obvious work hardening tendency and the processing parameters need to be controlled. It complies with international standards such as ASTM B865. Various specifications of plates with various surface states such as 2B and BA can be provided. Although the cost is relatively high, it has significant comprehensive benefits in the high-end industrial field due to its advantages such as high strength, corrosion resistance and long service life.
