Inconel 600 alloy is austenite. Inconel 600 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy, belonging to the second generation of nickel-chromium corrosion resistant alloy, and is a pure austenite structure in the solid solution state.
Composition and performance
The main components of Inconel 600 alloy include:
Nickel (Ni): content ≥72.0%
Chromium (Cr): content 14.0~17.0%
Iron (Fe): content 6.0~10.0%
Copper (Cu): content ≤0.5%
Manganese (Mn): content ≤1.0%
Carbon (C): content ≤0.15%
Silicon (Si): content ≤0.5%
Sulfur (S): content ≤0.015%
The alloy has good high temperature corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, excellent hot and cold processing and welding properties, can resist chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, sulfides and oxidizing media in high temperature environment, especially can resist the corrosion of dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride, the application temperature can reach 650 degrees Celsius.

Application field
Inconel 600 alloy is widely used in many fields:
Chemical field: used to manufacture evaporator, condenser and other equipment, as well as machine parts for acid and alkali industries.
Nuclear industry: It is a standard material for the construction of nuclear reactors and has excellent corrosion resistance to high-purity water.
Heat treatment industry: It is used to manufacture furnace parts such as curved neck bottles and parts, kettles, muffles, and steel rolling furnace walls in heat treatment furnaces.
Aerospace field: It is used to manufacture various high-temperature resistant engine and fuselage parts, such as lock wires, exhaust bushings, and turbine seals.
Electronic industry: It is used to manufacture cathode ray tube brackets, thyristor grids, tube support diaphragms, springs, etc.
